I submitted it through my LNS on Saturday.  It's Spring Cove by By the Bay.  I wonder where they will hang it? :)

5" of snow yesterday

Ick.  Very sunny and bright today.  Had an appointment so I wasn't going to work anyway.  Working on my Octopus Treasure Cave border.  They suggested that we mark the top somehow.  I just decided to stitch a jellyfish that was at the top.  :)

Found my Funky Flowers!

I had misplaced my By the Bay charts for 12 of the Funky Flowers!  I found them the other day.  I had blocked off the fabric into 24 blocks (per the blog), but only have 12 charts.  Then inspiration hit!  Mix and match the Funky Flowers with the Funky Birds! :)  I am a genius. ;)

Octopus Treasure Cave arrived!

I was thrilled to get my pattern by email on Monday for the Octopus Treasure Cave by Chatelaine Designs.  I joined the Yahoo! group and found their instructions on how to enlarge the pattern.  On Wednesday the fabric, threads and beads arrived in the mail. So pretty!

I feel like the start of this should be a memorable occurrence.  Trumpet fanfare anyone??!

My first purple package!

I ordered my first kit from Bedecked and Beadazzled and it arrived in a very pretty purple mailing envelope.  I look forward to ordering again! LOL

Started a Lizzie Kate today

I've had Bacon Bits kitted up since it was released.  I started it today and I'm enjoying stitching it very much.  I'd forgotten how much fun it is to stitch a Lizzie Kate design.

Snow today and Arctic temperatures

Now we don't have water.  sigh.  Hopefully this will be resolved quickly.  In the meantime I am stitching and watching Top 10 Bridezillas Moments. Life is good. :)
